After firing their head coach Antonio Pierce earlier this week, the Las Vegas Raiders followed that up by firing General Manager Tom Telesco today. It’s typical of the Raiders to make these kinds of disjointed decisions and run their franchise a little differently than most NFL teams, but you’d think they could get their ducks in a row before they started dropping axes. It is possible Tom Brady’s influence is already affecting their decision making.
Doug Gottlieb: “This is the Raiders being the Raiders. There is no more ‘Raider’ move than firing the head coach and them firing the GM a day later after letting everybody know the GM was safe...this is a very Raider-esque move.”
