Chris Broussard and Rob Parker react to the Heisman Trust choosing to reinstate former USC star RB Reggie Bush’s 2005 Heisman Trophy after not being formally recognized as a Heisman recipient since 2010. The guys react to the news and break down what this means for athletes and college football moving forward!
Chris Broussard: “I have always felt that while yes the player broke rules and took money the players always got the raw end of the deal! BECAUSE whenever somebody was caught it was these college players and teenagers in many cases, many of whom were from impoverished back grounds! AND I’m not justifying it, but I’m saying the adults, the corporate businessmen, the wealthy boosters they all got off scot-free!”
Rob Parker: “We want RECEIPTS! Since Reggie Bush got his Heisman back, obviously schools aren’t going to punish people and the Hall Of Fames isn't going to punish people, all that is out the window now so do you know what I want? I want all these big mouth athletes to speak up and come clean finally! YES, Gilbert Arenas, Draymond Green, and JJ Redick I’m talking to you!”
