The annual “Ghost Walk” has five locations today, and it supports the Halloween Festival two weeks later.
I caught Gene Betts of the Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau as he was making last-minute preparations Friday afternoon. He is also the president of the Halloween Festival.
He said tickets are available at the central location of 45 North Paint Street and are only $10. You can explore the five locations in any order from 10am to 6pm:
- Maggie’s Farm & Aromatics
- Nellie Dog Pottery
- Mill City Apparel
- Southern Ohio Axe Throwing
- The Gazette Building
The Ghost Walk also shares the downtown with the “family friendly” Oktoberfest on East Second Street from 4 to 10pm, and the Downtown Fall Open House over the entire weekend.
The Chillicothe Ghost Walk has a website (part of the Halloween Festival site) and its own Facebook page.
And if that’s not enough activity for you this weekend, always consult the online calendar of the Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau.
