On-and-off drizzle didn’t dampen spirits at the first “Summer” Chillicothe Farmers Market of the season on May 4th. The market is now open Saturdays from 8am to noon, through October, instead of opening at only 10am during its winter season.
One of three new vendors is “Café Graciela.” Cole, who happens to be the only non-Columbian in the company, represented the specialty coffee company that is based in Columbia, but is in seven markets in Central Ohio and Athens. They have an Instagram page and website:
“Café Graciela traces its beginnings to Pijao, Colombia in 2022…As a family-operated and Afro-Colombian-owned business, our attention to detail has led us to receive a score of 87.58 from the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) in just our first year of operations.”
The Chillicothe Farmers Market has a website, Facebook page, and Instagram page. You can also create an account and order ahead, up to 8am each Friday, to pick up pre-paid on Saturday morning.
