Low-cost vouchers to to pay for neutering and spaying cats will be available this Friday in Chillicothe.
“Purrfect Companions Cat Resource Center” is offering them for $40 each for fixing both males and females. The vouchers will be good for 90 days at North Fork Animal Clinic or Town & Country Animal Clinic.
You must come in person to 80 North Mulberry Street (not the shelter location) and pay with cash between 12 noon and 2pm December 15th.
Purrfect Companions asks for donations for their shelter cats (which are available for adoption with a fee):
- Friskies Paté Canned Food
- Fancy Feast Kitten Paté
- Purina Kitten Chow
- Purina Cat Chow Complete
- Clumping Litter
- Cat Scratching Posts
They also ask for donations to help pay for these periodic spay / neuter programs, and for shelter expenses. Purrfect Companions also suggests bringing additional cash for a raffle, t-shirts, sweets, and more. They also other seasonal items at other times.
Be prepared to wait in line due to demand, so they ask for only one person per family and no children or pets. There is no limit on vouchers…while they last.
You must make your own appointment with one of the vets for the surgeries within 90 days.
