Ross County and Ancient Ohio — The “Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks” should get its vote early Tuesday morning local time.
A fifteen-year process has led up to the much-anticipated action that will put local prehistoric earthworks under an international spotlight, added to the list of “World Heritage” sites.
About noon Monday, the Ross-Chillicothe Convention & Visitors Bureau released an email:
The moment we’ve been waiting for is expected to take place between 4am – 6am on Tuesday morning for the inscription of the Hopewell Ceremonial Earthworks to the UNESCO World Heritage List! If you are awake or want to set your alarm clocks to watch you can through YouTube as they are streaming it live!
