The Ross County Grand Jury returned all 18 of their cases Friday, with five of them open. Kevin Coleman has more on a big drug bust. According to the Ross County Prosecutor's Office:
On January 2nd, Chillicothe Police received information about a large amount of narcotics being held at 552 East Water Street.
They executed a search warrant and broke in the door to find 20-year-old Stephon D. Greathouse of 1730 Bar Harbor Road, Columbus, lying on a bed atop a loaded stolen Ruger handgun, with drugs in plain view on a table.
That was a big bust of 38.08 grams of fentanyl, 25.71 grams of meth, and 7.05 grams of cocaine.
An AR-15 rifle was found in a closet, and almost $3,000 cash in a jacket.
For indictments on first, third, and fourth degree felony drug, weapons, and stolen property charges, Greathouse could get up to 23 and a half years and $50,000 in fines.
