A three-year-old child was injured Sunday evening in a single-vehicle accident in Ross County.
According to the Chillicothe Post of the Highway Patrol, just after 8:00 last evening, the child attempted to cross Stoney Creek Road but ran into the side of a westbound vehicle driven by 20-year-old Laikin Tarlton of Chillicothe.
The child was transported by MedFlight to Nationwide Children's Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Tarlton was not injured.
