Our local National Park is commemorating its 100th birthday today.
Just north of Chillicothe is the heart of the Hopewell Culture National Historical Park, the Mound City earthworks. They became a federal park March 2nd, 1923.
Among other activities, one-hour park tours start at 9:30...and then at 2:30 is a presentation "Archeology Then and Now" by park Archeologist Bret Ruby. See the complete list below.
