If you enjoyed the the return of the Columbus Symphony’s “Holiday Pops Spectacular” at Ohio University-Chillicothe December 11th, plan on the same this year.
Executive Director of the Chillicothe-Ross Community Foundation Scott Graham says more than 800 attended, and all the proceeds went back into a fine arts fund to help with more of the same.
A free local health clinic benefited from the event. The Hope Clinic received more than $9,000. The event also helped with a grant for an art camp for the Pioneer School.
The Chillicothe-Ross Community Foundation is planning to bring the Pops back December 10th.
In his visit with the Ross County Commissioners Monday, Gram also mentioned that the company that has built the solar farm near Yellowbud is working with the foundation to contribute to that community.
