The first public meeting of the county-wide EMS Planning Committee will be 1:30pm Tuesday, February 7th, in Conference Room D in the Ross County Service Center at 475 Western Avenue in Chillicothe.
Consistent and timely EMS has been a concern, and this meeting is several months in the making. A committee has been formed of township trustees and county officials to handle finding a consultant to study how to have consistent emergency service.
The whole process may take 18-24 months.
The Ross County Commissioners heard about these concerns January 18th and August 22nd.
