Tuesday, the Ross County Commissioners were reminded of resources to deal with disasters, especially weather. Kevin Coleman was there.
Sima Merick, Executive Director of the Ohio Emergency Management Agency, was visiting the commissioners. She says her state website has much to offer the public: "nice to know's," listing of county EMA directors, and other resources through the state and non-governmental partners and stakeholders.
Paul Minney, the EMA Director for Ross County, was also there. He urged locals to get the mass notification alert from his website - or by texting ROSSALERT to 69310 to select notifications to your cell phone, land line, and/or email.
