The Ross County NAACP hosted their "Meet the Candidates Night" at the Carver Community Center Tuesday, and our Kevin Coleman was there.
Wayne McLaughlin is their Political Action Committee chairman, and said their annual Candidates Night is part of voter their voter awareness program.
He said the event went well, with speakers showing mutual respect to generate clarity and help inform voters.
Ross County Democratic and Republican party chairs introduced themselves, as well as candidates for 17th District State Senator, county auditor, and county commissioner. The Children's Services renewal levy was also presented.
