The new executive director of Ross County Child Protection Services introduced herself to the County Commissioners Tuesday, and Kevin Coleman was there.
Rhiannon Gill has been on the job for three weeks, but she's no newbie or softie. She described being an Air Force serviceman. While stationed at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, she helped develop the Sexual Assault Prevention and Outreach Program policy now used military-wide.
Gill says she has also done humanitarian missions in Guatemala, Argentina, and Puerto Rico.
She grew up in Scioto County, and returned to the area and worked in the Pike County "Partnership Advocacy Center" before taking the job in Ross County.
