Some confusion was caused Wednesday when local police scanner listeners picked up chatter about an active shooter in Chillicothe.
The Chillicothe Fire Department reports they were conducting a training scenario yesterday with the help of Chillicothe Police, and radio communications were accidently broadcast on open frequencies.
The Fire Department apologizes for any confusion or concerns that may have caused.
