Chillicothe Council Hears About Grant for Sewer Plant Work

Chillicothe Council Monday night heard about funding public works.

Mayor Luke Feeney praised the effort to find help with renovating the city's wastewater plant. He said a $5,000,000 grant will help greatly. Since sewer and water are fee-based services, so every savings helps to slow down future fee increases.

Feeney also mentioned that the city is in the middle of contract negotiations for all three city unions.

Kenneth Star returned to audience participation on his disappointment over accountability for a police crash September 3rd.

And Ed Kunzelman spoke on his next renovation project, this time at 14 and 16 E 2nd Street with a "secret garden" in back.

The Facebook Live video of the session repeatedly hangs and skips, and the Youtube feed is split into several videos.
