Ross County Commissioners to Fund Educator for OSU Extension

The Ross County Office of OSU Extension appealed to the Ross County Commissioners to help fund an additional educator in the commissioners' meeting Monday.

OSU Area Leader Chris Bruynis said he and his staff need a little help with 4-H, and Family & Consumer Science education, for youth and adults.

He said such skills as balancing a checkbook and writing a resume are needed to help with local workforce development. It will cost $41,500 to bring new educator to county, with the rest paid by state and federal funds, which he says makes it very affordable.

The commissioners agreed...and Bruynis hopes to have the job filled January 1st.
