One Dead in Two-Car Crash South of Piketon Friday Morning

One man died in a two-car crash south of Piketon this morning.

The Highway Patrol reports that about 6am, 66-year-old Terry Searls, of Bidwell, Ohio was westbound in a 2008 Chevy Malibu on S.R. 32. 25-year-old Colton Farmer of Piketon was eastbound in a 2003 Pontiac Bonneville.

Searls failed to yield the right of way while turning left onto U.S. 23. As a result, his passenger, 44-year-old Ronald L. Graham of Jackson, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Pike County Coroner.

Neither driver was injured in the crash.

OSHP was assisted at the scene by the Pike County Sheriff’s Department, Piketon PD, Scioto Township Fire Department, MedCare and the Ohio Department of Transportation.
