Ross County Sheriffs Deputies took a man into custody Thursday morning for allegedly taking a dog from the Ross County Humane Society without permission.
Deputies were called to the Humane Society's building on Lick Run Road and found a unsecured door. An employee said a dog was missing and she had noticed a man walking down Lick Run Road with a dog that matched the description.
Deputies were able to find the man and he was arrested for breaking and entering.
