The Ross County Community Action Commission has free Early Head Start and Head Start services for eligible children and families in Ross County. Early Childhood Service Director Andrea Minton says the program's importance has never been bigger as the nation recovers from the COVID-19 restrictions:
The Early Head Start program is designed for pregnant women and children ages 0-3, and offers both home- and center-based services. The Head Start program is for pre-school children ages 3-5.
All children enrolled in the center-based program receive free meals and all items necessary for diapering.
