24/7 News Source (Columbus, OH) -- The Ohio Department of Transportation is asking drivers to use caution around snowplows following several accidents this month. ODOT officials said on Tuesday that eleven plow trucks had been hit over the past two weeks while attempting to clear roads. That number is already up over last year when eight plow trucks were involved in accidents. ODOT warns drivers that plow operators have a limited field of vision, and if a driver can't see the plow's side-view mirrors, then the plow can't see you.
