Fayette County water rates are being adjusted. During their meeting on February 8th, the Fayette County Commissioners, as recommended by Sanitary Engineer Steve Luebbe, and per the terms of the Water Supply Agreement between Fayette County and ASA Bloomingburg, the rate for water will be annually adjusted in with the Producers Price Index published by the Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics. The water rate had been adjusted from $1.59 per 1000 gallons to $1.54 per 1000 gallons.
The Commissioners have also approved a contract engagement with Elitaire in Cincinnati for aid in diagnosing and repairing the HVAC system at the Fayette County Courthouse. That comes at a cost of $14,121.
