A new member has been added to the Chillicothe City Schools Board of Education. According to CCSD board minutes, Kelly Dennis was appointed, during a special session on Monday morning, to fill the vacancy left by Joy Shoemaker, who passed away in December.
Earlier this month, Shawn Porter was also appointed to Chillicothe's school board. Porter fills the vacancy left by Steve Mullins, who resigned in December after serving in the post for 15 years.
