Chillicothe Police report making an arrest of a robbery suspect, who was held in check by a person with a conceal carry weapon.
Police say the Sunday evening incident occurred when two men entered the Dunham Sports Store on North Bridge Street, where one of the subjects took a duffle bag from a shelf and filled it with other sale items in the store.
An employee approached one of the subjects, asking him to leave, then when approaching the second subject, he grabbed the duffle bag and fled on foot.
A couple of people pursued the subject to a dumpster, which led the subject coming at them with a knife and threatened the store manager. A man with a conceal carry weapon pulled his gun and held the suspect at bay until Chillicothe Police could arrive.
23-year-old Jonathan Berry was charged with aggravated robbery. The second suspect, 18-year-old Noah Richards, who was charged with complicity.
