Authorities are reporting that three adults have been shot at two locations in the Oak Hill area of Jackson County.
Sheriff Frazier confirmed that there has been one fatality, while two others are hospitalized.
One of the locations of shootings was inside the Village of Oak Hill, where two individuals were discovered with gunshot wounds. One is a patient of Holzer Hospital of Gallipolis, and the other is in critical condition at Grant Medical Center of Columbus.
Two persons of interest are being detained at the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office. Their identities are not being released at this time.
Sheriff Frazier is expected to hold a press conference at 4 pm today at his office, where he may be able to release more information on this case.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies, in corporation with the Oak Hill Police, the Scioto County Sheriff’s Deputies and the Ohio Bureau of Investigation (BCI) are currently investigating the case.
