Chillicothe City Council passed 8 pieces of legislation, Monday.
Council members approved ordinances for the city to enter into a parking services agreement with ParkMobile LLC; authorizing the Safety Service Director to establish alternative parking fee payment methods; modifying metered and unmetered parking zones; appropriating more than $753,000 in Water and Sewer funds for repairs; appropriating $10,000 for refuse truck service and repairs; appropriating $4,000 for streetlight repairs; allowing the auditor to transfer money within the same fund as needed in emergencies for the remainder of the calendar year.
Council also passed a resolution allowing the city to apply for a grant for street rehabilitation and improvements.
An ordinance that would amend Section 137.21 "Residency Requirements" of the Codified Ordinances will go for a third reading at the next regular council meeting.
