Ross County Auditor Tom Spetnagel Jr. is excited to announce that his "#1 Dog in Ross County" essay contest is now open for all Ross County 4th graders, including those doing virtual learning.
They have until November 20th to explain why their dog is the best in Ross County. The winner will receive the coveted number 1 tag, and will be showered with love and treats.
This contest is now in its 8th year, and it is his way of raising public awareness of dog licensing requirements...as well as a way to recognize some of the talented young people in our community, as well as their parents and teachers.
