Hope Partnership Project Still Engaged In Addiction Fight After A Decade

It has been 10 years now since the start of the Heroin Partnership Project, which has become the Hope Partnership Project of Ross County.

The Hope Partnership Project of Ross County continues a work began a decade ago that aims to gather and coordinate resources to assist people caught in addiction, get help to get clean.

Former Ross County Coroner Dr. John Gabis was a major driver in getting the group together with others in the county.

The group recently wrapped up one grant that allowed them to begin putting HPP on the path of nonprofit incorporation with the state. They are also working closely with the Ross County Health District to develop education and research expanding on Peer Recovery Supporter services in the county., updates where the project has come forward

Dr. Gabis, appearing with Project Coordinator Audrey Barker on the iHeart Media Communique, gave a shout-out to non-profits like Another Chance Ministry, Cheryl's House of Hope and Paint Valley ADAMH and others, for the work they have done in helping those in addiction find a way to sobriety.
