The Frontier Athletic Conference has shuffled their proposed high school football schedule in hopes Governor Mike DeWine will permit the season to move forward.
With the OHSAA's proposal to shorten the football season due to the COVID pandemic, the FAC has reset the football schedule to start August 28th with a non conference game, followed by the five conference games leading up to the proposed October 9th start to the playoffs, which this year would allow every team to participate without computer rankings being used.
It's anticipated the governor will announce this week whether "contact sorts", such as football, will be permitted to conduct contests this fall.
