(24/7 Sports) -- Major League Baseball is reporting 13 Coronavirus infections among players since workouts resumed last week. The round of testing also included four positive cases among team staff members out of over 74-hundred tests.
The league required its players to test negative before joining their respective clubs.
As MLB aims to start its season later this month, cases have surged in states across the country. The Cincinnati Reds will open at home against Detroit on July 24th.
