(Orlando, FL) -- Sources are saying a Columbus Crew SC player has tested positive for COVID-19 while preparing for the "MLS is Back" Tournament in Florida. The information leaked on Thursday after Crew players had undergone a second round of testing and has not yet been confirmed by Major League Soccer.
According to the source, the player was tested on Tuesday, two days after the Crew arrived at the Swan and Dolphin Hotel on the Disney World property.
The Crew are scheduled to play FC Cincinnati on July 11th in the first game of group play.
