The statue of Chillicothe High School graduate and NBA Hall of Famer Neil Johnston is finally been placed in front of Chillicothe High School.
The effort to raise funding and get the statue created spans the last four years. The project was the brain child of Bruce Caplinger.
Neil Johnston was a three-time NBA leading scorer, playing with the Philadelphia Warriors, helping them to one NBA title and later coaching the team.
The statue stands in front of Hatton Memorial Gym.
