According to the Ross County Prosecutor's Office, on November 11th a resident of Windy Ridge Road said he could identify the man who rode away with his four-wheeler, but crashed it and then fled on foot after the owner confronted him.
That was 42-year-old Bradley M. Steele of Harris Station Road.
Previously, Steele was identified as the driver of a car stolen from the Piketon Police impound lot, where he and two passengers caught attention by dropping drug paraphernalia at Harbor Freight.
While Steele was in jail for that, he was questioned about security photos showing him shoplifting more than $1,000 worth of three items from Lowe's. He said he was there empty-handed...which was an admission of being there, and with the evidence, indictable.
For indictments on grand theft, receiving stolen property, and theft, Steele could get up to four years and $12,500 in fines.

According to the Ross County Prosecutor's Office, the sheriff's office was assisting the US 23 Drug Pipeline Task Force after being informed that someone with a felony warrant was in a silver minivan.
It was spotted at a gas station on the east side of Bainbridge, but the driver sped away into the town, almost striking several vehicles and forcing them off the road. He headed north on State Route 41 and reached 90 miles an hour, before pulling into a driveway in the 3,000 block and running off on foot.
After being captured, 37-year-old Brian A. Hurley of Londonderry admitted he knew he was supposed to stop. The suspect with the warrant...was not in the minivan.
For an indictment on third degree felony failure to comply, Hurley could get up three years and $10,000 in fines.
