(Cincinnati) -- Ohioans might be able to catch a bald eagle in the skies over the next few weeks.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources says nesting season starts next month, and the birds are active up until then.
Females will lay one-to-three eggs starting at the end of next month. They'll incubate for about a month and will likely hatch in late March or early April.
The bald eagle is no longer considered an endangered species in the United States.
Increasing numbers of them have been witnessed in the Scioto Valley in recent years.
