Chillicothe opened their FAC game Friday by missing their first 7 shots and not scoring for nearly four minutes to start the game. Things changed quickly however as Chillicothe out scored the visiting Blue Lions 46-10 the rest of the first half and go on to an 85-22 blowout.

The Cavs forced turnovers and began running the floor for easy transition points including 4 slam dunks. For the game, Chillicothe scored 37 points off Blue Lion turnovers.

It was a tough night for Washington CH and new coach Ryan Day. The visitors were 9 of 38 shooting for 23%, including 1 of 15 from the three point line. Add 23 turnovers and you have an 85-22 final in favor of a very talented Chillicothe team.

The Cavaliers shot a hot 35 of 63 for 55% and were 10 of 18 from the three point line. Tre Beard was 5 of 6 from long range beyond the arc. Chillicothe also owned a 35-22 rebounding advantage.

Beard led the way for the Cavs with 19 as eleven Cavaliers scored in the game. Brandon Noel added 17 and Jayvon Maughmer had 11.

One bright spot for the Lions was freshman Tanner Lemaster who scored 10 of Washington’s 22 points.

Chillicothe moves their record to (3-0/6-0) 6-0. It will be another big week coming up with McClain coming to the "Hat" on Tuesday, a visit from state powerhouse Cincinnati Moeller on Friday, and a trip to Jackson on Saturday.

The Blue Lions remain winless falling to (0-3/0-6) on the year.
