.

In a CHS Athletic Department press release, Barr stated; "I'm excited to be part of the Cavaliers baseball program. I've had an opportunity to work with some of the guys in the summer and I'm looking forward to getting started. We will be evaluating every aspect of the baseball program from middle school up and bringing several coaches in to help build respect, sportsmanship and a high work ethic."

.

Chillicothe High School Athletic Director Mike Barren stated; "We are committed to hire coaches for all of our teams that have the capability to lead our student-athletes to success on an off the playing field. We believe Tom Barr will continue the development started by his predecessors and take our baseball program to the next level."
