An October 23rd dedication ceremony officially opens Chillicothe's newest park... The Yoctangee Parkway Dog Park.
.
City Parks and Recreation Director Bill Bonner says the Dog Park is open to the public, and offers a safe space for your pet to play and exercise without a leash. The one acre fenced-in Dog Park also offers watering stations for people and pets, free clean up bags, benches, fire hydrants and more.
.
Approximately $100,000 in donations helped the park become a reality.
.
Bonner says the public is invited to attend the Official Dedication for the park this evening at 5pm right outside the Dog Park.
.
The Chillicothe Dog Park is located on the north end of Yoctangee Boulevard and open to the public dawn until dusk-seven days a week.
