Representatives from Ohio's Development Services Agency met with the Chillicothe Mayor's Office and the Chillicothe-Ross Chamber of Commerce to discuss ways the state can support the local area, Tuesday.
Lydia Mihalik, director of Ohio's Development Services Agency, says their goal is to strengthen communities by seeing what is here and taking that message to other communities in Ohio.
John Carey, director of the Governor's Office of Appalachia, was also part of the discussion and said that the region needs to know there is hope for Appalachia. He says the state is building bridges to success by bolstering opportunities for healthcare, workforce training and infrastructure.
