Chillicothe Police are reporting that a semi struck the traffic light pole at Main and Douglas, causing all the traffic lights to come down. Due to the extent of damage, the lights are not able to be repaired in a timely manner. At this time the lights have been removed allowing continuous east and westbound traffic.

There will be no southbound turns allowed onto Douglas Avenue from Main Street. Traffic traveling northbound on Douglas will be restricted just south of Fire Station #3. No Douglas Avenue traffic will be allowed to access Main Street.

City crews are hoping to get new lights back up by weeks end. Please use caution in the area.
