A vehicle rolling backwards killed the driver in Circleville Monday. The Circleville Police Department is reporting they learned of the incident in a 9-1-1 call at 9:35am, Monday.

The driver of a Lincoln pickup truck parked it at 401 North Court Street, but the truck started to roll backwards on the inclined street with the driver trapped between the door and frame.

The driver was thrown to the pavement when the truck quickly turned, with the front tires rolling over the driver, who died at the scene. The victim has been identified as 85-year-old Mary L. Wickline of Circleville.
