The local alumni club heard stories and stats from more than a century of Ohio State football.

In their annual dinner meeting, the OSU Alumni Club of Ross County heard from author, speaker, and commentator Jack Park, who says he has gathered many stories from interviews, library research, reading, and his own memories of many games. Park says he also meets with older players...and noticed their stats would grow with time.

He was signing his most recent book, which he co-authored: "Buckeye Reflections - Legendary Moments from Ohio State Football."
-
He describes it as stories of outstanding happenings and great games in Ohio State University football, since their first one in 1890. One story he says that stands out to him is an 1898 game from a different age. After two Marietta players were injured, their coach asked OSU to loan them players, instead of forfeiting the game. An OSU player scored for Marietta and won the game for them...so the OSU coach never loaned another player again.

Aside from writing six books on OSU football and creating a leadership development program based on successful coaches, he also gives dinner talks.
-
The OSU Alumni Club of Ross County also helps with OSU scholarships for local students.
