Chillicothe Boys Volleyball Sweeps 2 Sets at Tri-Match

The Chillicothe Boys Volleyball team racked up two more wins at Thomas Worthington Wednesday night.

The Cavaliers first defeated New Albany with strong serving from David Hirsch and Joseph Herlihy as well as a dominate performances from middle hitters Hayden Cutright and Max Krieger. The Cavs won in straight sets 25-15, 25-18.

Chillicothe concluded the evening with another victory over host Thomas Worthington 25-20, 26-24.

"We had a good game against New Albany but our transition from defense to offense really started clicking against Thomas Worthington" said coach Andrew Vitatoe. "The New Albany game was decided in serve and serve receive, and the Thomas Worthington game was decided with digs and kills. All of our hitters were contributing."

The Cavaliers will travel to Briggs High School on Saturday for another tri-match with Briggs and Olentangy Berlin.
