Kevin Coleman spoke with the president and CEO of the Chillicothe Ross Chamber of Commerce recently. Mike Throne has been at the helm of the Chamber for almost a full quarter, and says he inherited great group.
In addition to being a better advocate for business, he says dealing with the opiate epidemic - and those recovering from it - is part of his focus. He said on Monday, April 8th, several sponsors are helping the "Denial, Ohio" campaign will visit.
At the Chamber's Annual Banquet, two major employers gave presentations. Adena Health System and Kennworth showed their accomplishments and goals.
It was pointed out the largest Kennworth plant is here. Throne said the link between their headquarters in Washington state and Chillicothe has never been stronger.
