Building and strengthening community is the heart of the YMCA, and Touch a Truck is at the core of that mission. For the seventh year, the YMCA brings together professionals from safety, community service, engineering and hobbyists with entertaining“trucks” to spark conversation and learning.
This year’s event expects 42 “trucks” ranging from MedFlight’s helicopter to Rally Cars from the Southern Ohio Forest Rally. Also, the event will host a fire truck from the Chillicothe Fire Department, semi-trucks, tractors, sprint cars and much more.
“Our biggest hope is that children walk away inspired and the event fuels their future careerdreams”, said Steve Clever, CEO of the YMCA. “Each year, we’ve been inspired by thegenerosity of our community by volunteering their time to connect with children and theirfamilies.”
This year’s event will take place on Saturday, July 14th from 10am to noon at the YMCA of Ross County. Entry is free for all ages.
