The orange barrels are getting ready to come out in Chillicothe for street paving.
Mayor Luke Feeney says the city is getting some shared expense help from the Ohio Department of Transportation, with the paving of Bridge Street, since it is also State Route 159. Paving between Marietta Road and Main Street will be done at night, to help limit traffic jams.
Feeney also says they are working more closely with Columbus Gas, who has some underground gas line repair work planned for some streets by 2019. This delay in paving for those specific areas will prevent newly paved streets from being torn up during the gas line renovations the following year.
