First Summer Archaeological Talk Tuesday Eve

(Hopewell Culture National Historical Park) -- The first of six lectures in the 2018 Robert L. Harness Lecture series will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12th.  

The featured speaker will be Hopewell Culture National Historical Park archaeologist Bret J. Ruby and his presentation is titled "Vikings, Villains, and Vitrified Forts: The Archeology of Spruce Hill."  

Archaeologist JEB Bowen will be there by 5:00 to eat supper on a picnic table outside the Mound City Visitor Center. He will be bringing a few interesting artifacts to share and invites members to arrive early to join him in archaeology-oriented fellowship.
