The Chillicothe Municipal Court is offering those seeking to obtain driving privileges help in doing so next Wednesday. The Court will host a BMV Workshop from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Courtroom #1 of Municipal Court on Wednesday, June 13th.
This will be the sixth year for the annual event which is open to Ross County Residents or persons with a case pending in Chillicothe Municipal Court. The Court and assisting agencies will have representatives or attorney available to answer questions and assist those seeking to obtain driving privileges.
Those interested can pre-register for the BMV Workshop at the Clerk’s Office at the Municipal Court. Walk-ins will also be welcome, but should plan to arrive before 11:00 a.m.
Attendees are encouraged to bring: proof of auto insurance, written documentation of employment or enrollment in schools, as well as a means of payment.
Agencies partnering with the Court for the Workshop are: the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, the Chillicothe Law Director, the Ross County Branch Public Defender, Southeastern Ohio Legal Services, the State Highway Patrol, the Ross County Sheriff, Chillicothe Police, and local attorneys.
