State Route 104 Flooded at Deer Creek

ODOT closed State Route 104 in Ross County just north of the Deer Creek Bridge 6pm Tuesday afternoon because of water flowing over the highway...again.  Deer Creek has a habit of flooding the fields north of the bridge during heavy rains.

Kevin Coleman was one of the last few to brave the deepening water in the iHeart truck as he headed north to cover the Pickaway Area Recovery Services "Drop-In Center" grand opening and Circleville Council...and into severe rain and lightning.

The route is closed at the 22.29-mile marker and the Deer Creek bridge, just north of T.R. 131A (Pennyroyal Road).

ODOT reminds motorists that crossing any closed route is strictly prohibited, and they should avoid traveling on roadways which remain open but where standing water may be present.
