Chillicothe Mayor Luke Feeney says city department heads did a good job coming up with their respective budgets for 2018.
Feeney says as a result, he and the city auditor were able to make most of the cuts necessary before city council was presented with the budget proposal, which totals $19.5 million.
Chillicothe City Council approved the budget in a special January 2nd session.
