Chillicothe Council's lone new member was in her first regular session Monday evening.
Lana Fairchild took the seat held by Alicia Gray, for the 3rd Ward. Fairchild says it's a diverse area covring parts of Bridge Street, the historic downtown, and the Old West Side - with about as many businesses as residents.
Fairchild says she has spent a few years in private business and government, and she hopes to bring her experience, as well a conservative perspective and "common-sense approach to challenges."
She says the business and industrial growth in Chillicothe makes this an exciting time to serve.
